We are looking for a proactive and responsible professional to manage government relations, project licensing, community engagement, and external affairs to support smooth and compliant project operations.

Position: Government Relations & External Affairs
Vacancy: 1 Person
Placement: Project Site - Kalimantan Timur

Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate with Indonesian government authorities, relevant ministries, local governments, and other stakeholders on employment, immigration, environmental, trade, and business licensing matters.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with local communities and external stakeholders to support stable project operations.
* Coordinate project permits, licenses, registrations, and administrative documentation, ensuring all approvals remain valid and compliant.
* Handle labor disputes, community concerns, and urgent public relations issues; develop appropriate conflict management and risk mitigation plans.
* Provide interpretation and translation in **Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Mandarin** for important meetings, business negotiations, and official documents.
* Plan and implement local Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, including community empowerment and social initiatives.
* Monitor changes in Indonesian laws, regulations, and government policies, and advise the project team on potential compliance risks.

Requirements
* Indonesian citizen, or candidates who have lived and worked in Indonesia for at least 5 years are preferred.
* Minimum **D3** in Public Relations, Public Administration, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
* Minimum **2 years of experience** in Government Relations, Industrial Relations, or community relations within industrial or infrastructure projects.
* Proficient in **Bahasa Indonesia and English**; able to prepare official documents and conduct professional negotiations independently.
* Mandarin proficiency is required for interpretation and translation responsibilities.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Good understanding of Indonesian government licensing procedures, employment regulations, and business regulations.
* Able to handle urgent situations and resolve problems effectively.
* Flexible, responsible, and willing to work at project sites.
* Willing to conduct field visits, work outdoors, and work overtime when required.
