About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join a growing international SaaS company. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll split your time between software development and leading a talented engineering team. You’ll play a key role in modernizing a legacy platform, driving technical strategy, mentoring engineers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
• Contribute to software development while providing technical leadership.
• Drive the modernization and migration of legacy systems.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Leadership to deliver scalable solutions.
• Establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, and development processes.
• Support hiring, coaching, and performance development within the engineering team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong backend development experience with one or more of the following: PHP, Node.js, Python, Go, Java, or C#.
• Experience leading legacy system modernization or platform migration projects.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and scalable applications.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Previous experience working in a remote, international environment is an advantage.
