Mission

The Commercial Manager Is responsible for:

• Developing and implementing a structured approach to Sales and Strategic Marketing for Kona Bay.
• Developing market share for Kona Bay, conforming with the agreed Business Unit Shrimp strategy.
• Managing and developing our in-country sales teams.

Profil

Knowledge needed:

• General business.
• Agri Food Value Chains / Markets segments in Indonesia.
• Culture Awareness and doing business in Indonesia.
• Global shrimp industry.
• Customer needs, industry trends etc.

Key Accountabilities:

• To grow Kona Bay’s global sales and representation, with special focus on Indonesia. Specific coaching of sales teams to ensure they have the necessary skills to meet current and future needs.
• Develop regional plans to ensure growth in the market to match Kona Bay’s strategic ambitions.
• To develop the sales organization with strategy, structure, resources, and tools needed.
• To manage the targets and achievements of sales staff, representatives, and distributors.
• To develop the ‘Salesmen’s Briefcase’ for Kona Bay, built upon collected product performance data and a winning value proposition, with value creation and value capture (value selling) as key elements.
• Work with the Technical team on after-sales, data collection and benchmarking.
• Work with global and local management on establishment and development of regional BMC’s and other operations within the region, including identification of preferred partners in each region.
• (Key) Account management and (Key) Account acquisition.
• Overall responsibility for attaining global sales targets, including establishment of the sales pipeline with sufficient leads, lead to order conversion, debtor days and collections of direct and distributor sales.
• Preparation of the annual global budget, management of expenditure, forecast, expenses, etc. in accordance with the financial plan.
• Maintain a productive functioning relationship with Business Unit Shrimp marketing and Communication team.
• CRM application management for sales function.
• Define the strategy and execute the presence of Kona Bay at industry events.
• International travel from time to time. .
