Komodo Resort is an exclusive island resort at the edge of the world renowned Komodo National Park (Home of the Komodo Dragon). Combining both the Komodo Resort and Neptune Dive Centre it attracts a large International clientele looking for an island retreat and adventure tourism with exploration of the park and scuba diving.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, staff housing and HR policy implementation for both Komodo Resort and Neptune Scuba Dive, Komodo.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives
  • Oversee the recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to making hiring decisions
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures
  • Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Manage HR metrics and reporting to track key performance indicators and trends
  • Collaborate with management to identify and address HR-related challenges and opportunities.
  • Oversee the Staff Housing allotments and ensuring quality living conditions as an Island all staff are live in.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in human resources management roles
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training and development
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications
  • Ability to work with minimal direction to achieve company goals.
  • Work as an integral part of management team to achieve smooth interdepartmental and management employee relationships.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rp8,000,000 - Rp10,000,000 per month

Education:

  • S1 (Preferred)

Experience:

  • People Management: 5 years (Required)
  • Human Resources: 5 years (Required)
  • HRGA in the hospitality or resort industry: 5 years (Required)
  • an HRM in the hospitality industry: 2 years (Required)

Language:

  • English (Required)
  • Mandarin (Preferred)

Expected Start Date: 06/03/2024
