Job Description & Summary

A career in our Personal Tax Compliance practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.

Our team helps individuals and families comply with US Federal and State tax filing rules. You’ll focus on tax policy changes related to tax returns, US and international tax reporting, tax payments and Internal Revenue Service communications.

As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above

  • Be involved in the financial management of clients

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen

  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges

  • Assist in the management and delivering of large projects

  • Train, coach, and supervise staff

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your brand

  • Develop your knowledge in Indonesian personal income tax, social security and international tax treaties

  • Our extraordinary client diversity will allow you to manage a variety of client assignments, gaining experience in complex Indonesian personal income tax issues, and identifying and implementing Global Mobility Services projects

  • Opportunity to work in expatriate policy design and implementation and in expatriate compensation design and implementation

Preferred skills

  • A degree in accounting, fiscal administration or related field

  • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments, clients and staff. Strong analytical, organization, and communication skills, the ability to work effectively under pressure, and a proactive attitude

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Good proficiency in both written and spoken English

  • Good proficiency in MS Excel will be a plus

  • Demonstrated business development skills and enthusiasm about contributing to the growth of the Global Mobility Services practice

  • Understand the application of tax treaty tie-breaker rule, PE risk determination and foreign tax credit claim

Minimum years experience required

5 years experience in related field
