One of our clients, a premier property development company in Bali, is searching for a highly experienced Project Director to join the team immediately with significant pre-opening experience.

The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in managing large-scale property development projects. They should have a proven track record of successfully leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional leadership and strategic planning skills, with the ability to manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.

Requirements :

  • Open for local candidates.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in construction project management. At least three years in a leadership role.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management related to construction projects.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and demands.
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to handle complex situations.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Office-based with regular site visits.
  • May require occasional travel to client locations or project sites.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments.
  • Establish project goals and success criteria, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of construction consultants, including project managers, engineers, architects, and other professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, encouraging professional growth and development within the team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure project alignment and compliance.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring they adhere to the project plan, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or deviations promptly to keep the project on track.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, financial planning, and expense tracking. Ensure projects are delivered within the allocated budget, identifying and mitigating any financial risks.
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure high standards of construction and project delivery.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, reports, and correspondence.
