About the role

As an Activation Manager, you will be responsible for driving the implementation and success of key marketing and promotional campaigns across our trade channels in theNational. In this full-time role, you will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to ensure our products are effectively showcased and positioned to drive increased awareness and sales.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and execute impactful in-store activation and merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and availability

2. Coordinate with retail partners to secure prime shelf space and optimal product placement

3. Monitor and analyse campaign performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and making recommendations to enhance future initiatives

4. Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging point-of-sale materials and promotional content

5. Manage a team of field sales representatives, providing coaching and support to ensure effective on-the-ground execution

6. Maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, proactively addressing their needs and identifying new opportunities

7. Contribute to the overall marketing strategy by providing insights and recommendations based on market trends and customer feedback

What we're looking for

1. 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in a trade marketing or activation role, preferably within the FMCG industry

2. Strong knowledge of retail merchandising best practices and in-store activation techniques

3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders

4. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use insights to drive informed decision-making

5. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environment

6. A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth
