We are looking for an Instrumentation an d Control Engineer with knowledge and experience in IoT engineer ing to support the design, implementation, commissioning, and optimization of instrumentation, control, and industrial IoT solutions. This role bridges traditional I&C engineering with digital and IoT - based data acquisition and monitoring, supporting both project execution and operational
improvements.

Mandatory Job Description (Must Have):

• Design, specify, and review instrumentation and control systems for energy and industrial facilities.
• Prepare and review:
  • Instrument datasheets and specifications
  • P&IDs, loop diagrams, hook - up drawing
  • Control philosophies and cause & effect diagrams
  • Instrument index, I/O lists, and cable schedules
• Select and size field instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level, analyzers).
• Support engineering and configuration of PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and start - up activities.
• Coordinate with process, electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, ISA, API, ISO).
• Interface with clients, vendors, and system integrators.
• Prepare technical documentation and engineering reports.

Additional Job Description (Nice to Have):

• Support the implementation of industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions for data acquisition, monitoring, and diagnostics.
• Assist in connecting field devices, sensors, or PLCs to IoT gateways or edge devices.
• Understand and work with common IoT communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, OPC UA,Modbus TCP).
• Support integration of plant data to cloud or on - premise platforms for visualization and analytics.
• Participate in basic dashboarding, data trending, or condition monitoring use cases.
• Collaborate with IT, OT, and digital teams on secure data connectivity and system integration.
• Support troubleshooting of IoT - enabled monitoring systems during operation.

Technical Skill Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
• Typically 3 – 5 years of experience in instrumentation, control, or industrial automation.
• Solid understanding of instrumentation and control engineering fundamentals , experience with PLC, DCS, and/or SCADA systems (any major vendor) , and have the competency to read and develop P&IDs and I&C engineering documentation.
• Had exposure to IoT, digitalization, or smart monitoring projects in industrial or energy environments , familiar with IoT communication protocol (e.g. MQTT, OPC UA) . Had experience with Edge devices or industrial gateways , and Cloud or on - premise monitoring platforms (e.g.,Azure IoT, AWS IoT, or similar) .
• Programming and Software : Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, C/C++, and knowledge of IIoT platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Data Analytics : Skills in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling to extract meaningful insights from sensor data, including creating the use cases simulator.
