Job Description:

Brief job description:

Sourcing responsibility for selected spend areas within the Footwear Division

Responsibility for improving the cost structure by defining and implementing measures for process optimisation and increase of productivity

Design and implementation of category strategies in accordance with procurement/corporate company targets

Analysing and identifying relevant procurement markets and localisation of raw materials

Carrying out market analyses from identifying of procurement risks to the definition and implementation of necessary measures

International supplier search and qualification

Price and contract negotiations including contract- and complaints management

Initiation, planning and implementation of optimisation projects with suppliers, such as innovation workshops etc.

Ensuring compliance with group-wide procurement guidelines

Work with global Procurement team on overall topics (i.e. design of procurement reporting structure etc.) and align these with global group requirements

Support and further development of the global Procurement IT systems landscape

Close cooperation with the Supply Chain Management, Development, Sales, Finance & Controlling and Sustainability

Management of special projects in strategic procurement

Professional requirements:

Successfully completed studies in engineering, industrial engineering, economics, chemical- or materials engineering or successfully completed vocational training with relevant professional experience in the field.

Business fluent in English and Chinese

Other languages are an advantage

Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement with own responsibility, preferably in an international context, in the manufacturing industry, textile industry, chemical industry, process engineering or recycling industry

Strong technical understanding and -acumen

Sound knowledge of modern strategic procurement tools, such as Spend Analysis

Category Management, Cost Modelling, Strategic Sourcing etc.

Experience in working with new product development and managing international projects within an international matrix organisation

Expertise in the procurement of polymers / chemical products (virgin and recycled

material) as well as in the international raw material markets is desirable.

Good ERP and procurement software application knowledge, SAP preferred.

Very good application knowledge of MS Office package, especially Excel and PowerPoint

A high degree of results-orientation, paired with an analytical and strategic way of working

Willingness to implement changes in a complex organisation
