Medical, Healthcare, and Digital Health Research

AndTalent connects highly skilled professionals with leading Australian businesses. We are seeking a PhD student or doctoral researcher with experience in medical or healthcare research and scientific writing to join our team on a part-time basis.

Qualifications

• Currently undertaking a PhD in Medicine, Health Sciences, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Education, Digital Health, or a related field.
• Minimum one year of experience in medical or healthcare research.
• Minimum one year of experience in academic, scientific, or medical writing.
• Strong literature review, analytical, research, and English writing skills.
• Familiarity with research methodologies, academic referencing, and research ethics.
• Knowledge of digital health, telemedicine, healthcare technology, or AI in healthcare is preferred.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment.
• Published journal articles, research papers, conference papers, or official healthcare publications will be considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews and research on medical, healthcare, and digital health topics.
• Prepare research papers, reports, proposals, white papers, literature reviews, and healthcare articles.
• Review and synthesise scientific evidence and research findings.
• Edit and refine academic or professional research documents.
• Translate complex medical information into clear and evidence-based content.
• Support research documentation and publication preparation.
• Collaborate with medical, research, product, and technology teams.
• Stay updated with developments in healthcare and digital health.
