About the role

We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic English Teacher/Tutor to join our Medan team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an English training centre, tutoring centre, or language school. You will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons, supporting students' learning progress, and helping them achieve their English language goals. This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher who enjoys working with students and creating a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Must be fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an English Teacher/Tutor, preferably in an English training centre, tutoring centre, or language school
• Based in Medan area (required)
• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field is strongly preferred
• Experience teaching students of different levels and backgrounds
• Strong knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational English
• Able to prepare and deliver engaging English lessons and learning materials
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Patient, approachable, and able to create a positive learning environment
• Comfortable teaching both individual and group classes.
• Reliable, responsible, and committed to maintaining teaching schedules
• Experience preparing students for TOEFL, IELTS, or other English proficiency tests is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct English lessons for students through individual and group classes
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, exercises, and activities according to students' learning needs
• Assess students' English proficiency and monitor their learning progress
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their speaking, writing, listening, reading, grammar, and vocabulary
• Create an engaging and supportive classroom environment
• Adapt teaching methods and materials based on different student levels and learning styles
• Assist students with their English learning goals and provide additional guidance when required
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance
• Coordinate with the team regarding class schedules, student progress, and teaching requirements
• Support English-related seminars, workshops, or training activities when required

Pay : Start from Rp. 60.000 / hour
