Key Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive, corrective, and overhaul maintenance activities for power plant electrical systems and equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance activities for generators, transformers, switchgear, MCC, electrical motors, UPS, batteries, and auxiliary electrical systems.
• Monitor equipment conditions and coordinate inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of electrical components.
• Coordinate with Operation, Mechanical, Instrumentation, and other Maintenance teams to ensure safe and reliable plant operation.
• Supervise electrical maintenance activities during planned shutdowns, major overhauls, commissioning, and equipment start-up.
• Review work scope, manpower, tools, spare parts, and maintenance schedules to ensure work is completed safely and on time.
• Ensure proper execution of electrical testing, equipment isolation, switching, energization, and de-energization activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment abnormalities, including motor trips, breaker faults, insulation problems, protection trips, and power supply failures.
• Ensure all electrical maintenance activities comply with SOP, PTW, LOTO, HSE, electrical safety, and quality procedures.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance reports, test records, equipment condition reports, and maintenance history.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, Power Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in power plant electrical maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience leading electrical maintenance teams.
• Hands-on experience with generators, transformers, switchgear, MCC, electrical motors, UPS, batteries, and electrical protection systems.
• Experience in electrical inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, planned shutdown, and overhaul activities.
• Familiar with protection relays, circuit breakers, insulation resistance testing, grounding systems, and electrical distribution systems.
• Able to read and understand Single-Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Familiar with PTW, LOTO, electrical isolation, switching procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken, for communication with foreign supervisors and technical teams.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
• Willing to work according to shutdown/overhaul schedules and be assigned to project/site locations.
