About the Role:

District Engagement & Acquisition Associate role is to acquire new promising merchants to Gojek's universe and provide the best set of merchants to customers. The role reports to the Direct Sales Manager

What You Will Do

• Handle direct acquisition of virgin merchants to Gojek's universe (no existing relationship with Gojek)
• Work with Consumer Engagement Team to Identify the new source of virgin leads
• Responsible to manage & evaluate the performance/productivity of canvassers to scale merchants acquisition
• Educate and engage the newly onboarded and unmanaged merchants to ensure merchant’s literacy and advocacy for Gopay as main payment channel

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s degree in any field and willing to work mobile
• At least 3 years of experience within mid-to-senior management function (FMCG, SMB Banking and Telecom company)
• Experience in handling a team
• Strong network and knowledge about the district
• Ability to bridge, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key partners (such as but not limited to local or regional government stakeholders, 3rd party partners, merchant associations, and communities)
• Strong business sense and a good understanding of the markets, customers, and competitors
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills (e.g. experience managing a big team, people development, and mentoring or coaching)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Fact-based or number-oriented individual; comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
