Summary

Bring nature to life and learn how to design beautiful spaces through a Landscape Engineering Internship at Grand Hyatt Bali! As a Landscape Intern, you’ll join the team that keeps our gardens lush, our outdoor spaces inspiring, and our overall resort environment visually stunning.

Your main mission? To support the creation of distinctive guest experiences by maintaining and improving the hotel’s exterior landscapes—from tropical gardens and pathways to green walls and floral arrangements. You’ll assist in designing layouts, choosing plant types, managing daily plant care, and documenting landscaping plans. You'll also gain insight into sustainable landscape practices and how nature plays a key role in luxury hospitality.

This internship is ideal for students passionate about nature, design, and the role of the outdoor environment in enhancing guest satisfaction. You'll enjoy a personalised learning journey, supported by your mentor (Learning and Development Manager), coach (Landscape Manager), and buddy (a Gardening or Landscape team member). You’ll also participate in employee activities, volunteering projects, eco-initiatives, employee clubs, and many more meaningful experiences!

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated (within the past year) from a D1, D2, D3, D4, or S1 program in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Agriculture, Environmental Design, or related major.

• Passionate about plants, garden design, and creating beautiful outdoor spaces.

• Strong interest in both the creative and technical sides of landscaping.

• Comfortable working outdoors and assisting with manual tasks when needed.

• Basic skills in Microsoft Office; knowledge of design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar) is a plus.

• Responsible, detail-oriented, and open to learning sustainable landscaping methods.

• Good basic communication skills in English.

• Willing to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum of 6 months.

• Committed to supporting distinctive guest experiences through beautiful, well-maintained landscapes
