What You Will Contribute:

As a Waiter/Waitress at ZALI, you will play an important role in delivering warm, attentive, and personalized service to every guest. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining your assigned section, and ensuring that every dining experience reflects ZALI's standards of genuine hospitality.

Your professionalism, product knowledge, attention to detail, and positive attitude will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences while maintaining high standards of service quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

What You Will Do:

• Welcome and greet guests warmly, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
• Present menus, explain menu items, ingredients, and recommendations, and answer guest questions confidently.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar team.
• Provide attentive and efficient table service throughout the guest's dining experience.
• Serve food and beverages according to established service standards and presentation guidelines.
• Check regularly with guests to ensure their needs are met and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Handle special dietary requirements, allergies, and guest requests carefully and communicate them clearly to the relevant team members.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper setup of tables, service stations, and assigned sections.
• Ensure tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset efficiently after guests leave.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including mise en place, table setup, polishing, and service station preparation.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming, hygiene, and professional appearance at all times.
• Follow restaurant SOPs, food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and service standards.
• Assist in handling guest complaints professionally and escalate any issues to the Restaurant Supervisor when required.
• Support the team during busy service periods to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
• Assist with in-villa dining service and other guest service requirements as assigned.
• Collaborate closely with the Restaurant Supervisor, kitchen, bar, and other team members to ensure seamless service.
• Process guest bills and payments accurately when required.
• Promote menu items, special offerings, and appropriate food and beverage recommendations to enhance the guest experience and sales.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in hotels, resorts, villas, restaurants, or similar hospitality establishments.
• Experience in casual dining, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, or international cuisine is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards and restaurant operations.
• Good understanding of food ingredients, menu items, and basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for guest service.
• Able to communicate in English confidently with local and international guests.
• Friendly, warm, personable, and comfortable interacting with guests.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to service quality and guest satisfaction.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and develop.
• Well-groomed and professional in appearance.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
