Job Description:

• Product Quality Monitoring: Oversee the quality of coconut and palm derivatives from raw material to finished product, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Inspect incoming raw materials for defects, contaminants, and overall quality before processing.
• Monitor the production process to ensure consistent quality and adherence to safety standards.
• Conduct final product inspections to verify that all products meet the required specifications.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, tests, and audits.
• Prepare and maintain quality assurance documentation, including inspection reports, certifications, and corrective action reports.
• Generate regular reports on product quality performance and highlight areas for improvement.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all products comply with local and international quality and safety standards.
• Stay updated with industry regulations and standards related to food safety and quality.
• Implement and enforce quality control policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
• Issue Resolution: Identify, document, and address any quality issues that arise during production.
• Coordinate with production and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and work on solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Continuous Improvement: Work on improving quality assurance processes and methods.
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Train and educate staff on quality assurance standards and best practices.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance or Food Safety are a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the food industry.
• Experience with coconut and palm derivatives is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures and regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in using quality management tools and software.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
• Communication Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members and report findings.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address quality issues effectively.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with different departments and lead quality improvement initiatives.
